Nurse Practitioner
MNS (Hons), PGCertPMG

I'm a Nurse Practitioner with more than 15 years of hands-on clinical experience, shaped by a broad and meaningful career across emergency care, sexual health, sexual assault services, primary health, and women’s health.

Currently, I balance multiple roles within the health sector. I work with Sexual Wellbeing Aotearoa and Menopause Wellbeing and serve as a Nurse Practitioner Consultant at the Goodfellow Unit. I also provide specialised care in gynaecology outpatient services through Te Whatu Ora, am involved with the local Sexual Assault and Treatment Service and am the Clinical Lead for Sexually Transmitted Infections Education Foundation (STIEF).

My academic commitments extend to my role with Massey University with the post graduate nursing programme, and the University of Auckland –where I provide gynaecological teaching for fifth-year medical students.

I am especially passionate about improving menopause care in Aotearoa. I recognise how often this stage of life is overlooked or underserved and am committed to closing that gap with evidence-based, accessible, and compassionate care. Drawing on my rich clinical background and strong advocacy for holistic sexual and reproductive health, I'm dedicated to making menopause support more responsive and inclusive for those who need it most.

There's a significant gap in accessible, evidence-based support for people navigating menopause, and I'm eager to draw on my clinical background to contribute to improving menopause care across Aotearoa.
